Over the years, The Janice Marshall Stage School has seen many of its students enter into the performing arts industry. Many in Classical Ballet companies, London's West End and Cruise Ships which has recently become the fastest growing employer of dancers today.
Many of our students are given the opportunity of studying in the Scottish Ballet Junior Associate Programme in Glasgow, providing them with experience of working with first class teachers to develop strength, technique and musicality. At the age of 12, students may audition for a place at the prestigious Dance School of Scotland in Knightswood Secondary School, Scotlands only fully funded full time vocational training in dance, or gain entry to the Senior Associate Programme (aged 15 years).
Many of our students are now training in these courses.

Kara joined Scottish Ballet in 1996 where she danced many roles including 'Lady Capulet' in Romeo and Juliet, 'Step-Sister' in Cinderella, 'Carabosse' in The Sleeping Beauty and works by William Forsythe.
Kara has also taught through the Scottish Ballet Education programme, the Associate Scheme and the Conservatoire programme.
After attending the Janice Marshall Stage School, Kara trained at the Dance School of Scotland.
Jamie trained at The Dance School of Scotland and Bird College of Dance, Music and Theatre Performance in London graduating with a First Class B.A (Hons) Degree.

Jamie has taught at various schools and colleges throughout the UK including Bird College, Scottish Ballet Junior Associates, The Dance School of Scotland, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland & Glasgow Kelvin College.
Jamie is also a Director/Choreographer at Royal Caribbean Productions in Miami, Florida.
Morven is currently in her second year as a member of the Ballet ensemble in Phantom Of The Opera on London's West End.
After attending the Janice Marshall Stage School, Morven trained at The Dance School of Scotland and the Central School of Ballet. In her graduate year, she toured the UK as a company member with Ballet Central.
Lesley was most recently a cast memeber onboard Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas. Prior to this, she appeared onboard the Quantum of the Seas in RCCL's newest and most unique venue, TWO70. Lesley has performed with Royal Caribbean since 2010 performing as a Dancer, Aerialist and Tumbler. Lesley has also performed at Tokyo Disney as a Dancer / Aerialist in One Mans Dream.
After attending the Janice Marshall Stage School, Lesley trained at The Dance School of Scotland and Northen Ballet School in Manchester.
Craig McFarlane danced at the Janice Marshall Stage School for 6 years. He then spent 4 years at The Dance School of Scotland followed by 3 years at Central School of Ballet in London.
He toured with Ballet Central in 2017 dancing many main roles such as 'Romeo' in Romeo & Juliet and 'Solor' in La Bayadere. He also reached the semi finals of the BBC Young Dancer 2017 in the Ballet category.
Craig is currently dancing for the Ballet Company at the Moravské Divadlo Olomouc in the Czech Republic.
Rachael was most recently a cast member onboard Cunard's Queen Mary 2.
She has also worked with Arlene Phillips on BBC'S The One Show and with Susan Boyle and Dame Shirley Bassey at Blackpool's Winter Gradens. Racheal has also performed in Mamma Mia at the Emirates Palace, The Hit Factory at the O2 Arena, Wireless Festivals, various trade shows and corporate events. She has also recently worked as assistant choreographer for Celebrity Cruises.
After attending the Janice Marshall Stage School, Rachael trained at The Dance School of Scotland and London Studio Centre.
Mark started training at the age of eight at The Janice Marshall Stage School. It was the support and confidence from the teachers there that he applied and was accepted into The Dance School of Scotland. Mark trained there for five years before moving to London to train at the Central School of Ballet. In his third year at Central, Mark was part of the Ballet Central Touring Company.
Upon graduating from Central School of Ballet, Mark became a company member of The National Ballet of Ireland for two seasons, performing as 'Fritz' in The Nutcracker and 'Hilarion' in Ludovic Ondiviela's Giselle.
It was the support and training from these schools that has enabled Mark to have such a fantastic opportunities.
If it wasn't for The Janice Marshall Stage School, Mark wouldn't have been given the foundations to the training he needed for his career.
Mark is currently appearing in the US Tour of Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake .
Katrina was most recently seen performing in 'The Snowman' UK Tour.
Previous: MS Rotterdam with Belinda King Productions. Prior to this she was performing on P&O's Oriana and Aurora with the Headliners Theatre Company.
Katrina has also toured with the Vienna Festival Ballet performing in Classical Ballets such as The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. She has also performed in the Thursford Christmas Spectacular in Norfolk.
After attending the Janice Marshall Stage School, Katrina trained at the Dance School of Scotland and the Elmhurst School for Dance
Most recently, Eva has starred in the Investigation Discovery Channel series "Evil Lives Here" along with short films "Paranoia" and "Banged".
She has also recently completed an Off-Off Broadway run of the play 12 Angry Women where she played the leading role of 'Juror 4' and the musical production of The Addams Family where she played a lead ancestor and doubled as Dance Captain.
After attending the Janice Marshall Stage School, Eva trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and Doreen Bird College of Dance, Music and Theatre Performance in London. She then went on to further her training at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts in New York City.
Lorna was a soloist with The Scottish Ballet Company for many years and during her time, worked with a variety of choreographers and performed in all the company's main classics and contemporary works.
Lorna has worked at the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts as Ballet teacher and Junior Conservatoire Coordinator.
After attending the Janice Marshall Stage School, Lorna trained at The Dance School of Scotland and Royal Ballet Upper School.
